Aiming to reach an emerging middle class public in
Brazil, new real estate ventures are being built smaller
than ever before. This shift is extinguishing some
common features of Brazilian houses, forcing users
to drastically change their behaviour. Those new apartments are eliminating the old employee and guest rooms to give space for new gourmet balconies. However, people still need to receive guests at home, but their accommodation has become very difficult due to lack of proper space for it.
The goal of this project was to develop a multifunctional furniture for middle class young couples in a demand for flexible environments. Mood Furniture is a low cost solution that adapts a home office in a bedroom for casual guests.
